Come, Come Ye Saints String Trio in Time for Pioneer Day
A couple years back I did a string trio arrangement of "Come, Come Ye Saints" for a musical presentation for our church. Since Pioneer Day is coming up this weekend, I thought it would be appropriate to put together a recording of this arrangement on various websites. Here is the youtube and soundcloud versions of these recordings. I'll also be updating the blog to have these recordings available for streaming and download sometime soon. My goal when writing this arrangement was to make it simple and still beautiful. Each verse has a different feel to it to help create some variety throughout. I've also spread things around in the arrangement so that each instrument has at least one time they get to play the melody.
